Tape Sway is out
Our first plugin is out. A creative tape modulator that gives anything sitting too still some width and life: a slow wow, a fast flutter, a tape delay, and a pitch shifter, all folded into one machine.

Tape Sway is a creative tape modulator: it takes the wander of old, imperfect tape machines and lays it over your track.
What it does
- Four machines. Reel glides. 8-Track wobbles. Walkman drags and hisses. Dictaphone lurches through a narrow band. Each one carries its own character.
- Wow and flutter on a single bar: lean it from a slow, seasick drift toward a fast, nervous flutter.
- A tape delay built in, swayed by the same motion. The echoes come back warped.
- Pitch, up or down, 3 engines, tape-aged on the way out.
- Wear: drive, a worn-head rolloff, hiss ducked under the signal, and the odd dropout, all scaled by how hard a life each reel has had.
Getting it
Tape Sway is $29 while it is new; $49 once it has settled in.
The demo is the full plugin. Download it, put it on something, and hear it for yourself. It goes quiet for 3 seconds now and then until a key removes the limit.
